I don't know much about county stuff. Have you spoken with Mark Stoops, the member of the County Council who is most in line with Transition goals? He might be able to help you figure out how to go about it. Though I have a feeling he's swamped right now with all the organized invective that's hitting the proposed visionary County Land Use Plan. You might put this question to the permaculture guild list. Get on that list, if you're not already, by emailing Rhonda at rkbaird@yahoo.com. It's a very active list, people really trying to help each other out. Also, put that question on this site generally, not just to me. You're doing pioneer work, so it's always difficult. Hard to break through any status quo. Breathe!
