Are you aware that your membership will not be approved unless you complete your profile questions?
I am now
How are you currently involved in Transition to a post-petroleum lifestlyle?
We are in the process of researching how we can be a self sustainable home; I was thrilled to learn that there were entire communities with the same desire.
How do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I am a geololgist. As a geologist I do not see $$$ when you speak out oil; I see a bleak future. We have reached the end of it's usefullness and should be more aggressively searching out a way to live more sustainably. It is possible!
How can you help the growth / acceptance / vitality of local Transition efforts? What can YOU teach us? What can your Group teach us?
I have a strong background in science and can teach the more techincal aspects of the dangers of fracking and other newer methods of obtaining the last little bit of oil left on this continent. I also love to learn. I want to be a better gardner and learn all the many attributes of herbs. I want to learn to make my own clothes and to live a lifestyle that will leave a healthy planet for my children!
Can you give 2-5 hours a month in Bloomington to manifest real projects and will you show up?
We live in Indianapolis and would love to see something like this here. If things were scheduled in advance and we can fit in between caring for alling parents and my daughter; yes we could find time to occassionally make the trip to Bloomington. However, finances are also an issue as gas costs continue to rise.

Have a nice day

Thanks God bless.

Mr.Frank.
