How are you currently involved in Transition to a post-petroleum lifestlyle?
I served on the Transition Initiating Group. Now I am on the community currency and waste/compost working groups--and I propagate permaculture through speaking and educational engagement.
How do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I like to live a comfortable life with a sense of abundance. I'd like for my children to have the possibility of a good life, too.
I'm drawn to community process and visioning. I know that our community can become even more vibrant and wonderful than it already is.
There is a lot of work to be done to make that happen and Transition is the best process/model I've seen for doing that.
How can you help the growth / acceptance / vitality of local Transition efforts? What can YOU teach us? What can your Group teach us?
Well, I'm really interested in teaching permaculture and getting people to practice it. I have a lot of organizing and networking experience, technical experience, and vision. These are all things that might be useful.

Rhonda - I joined this group last summer, but I haven't had time to attend any meetings or sessions. I'm interested in the permaculture design course - but I think I've missed a bunch of it already.....unless it's one weekend at a time??? I just looked at the dates and it confused me. Please let me know when there is another weekend class, thanks! Doris Brinegar
SEE Email - Can't fit mssg in this box or figure out how to mssg U thru site.
This is my second year trying to sprout an urban garden w/less than a shoestring & the response from the gardeneering community is still very meager. No better opportunity to show what can be accomplished by perma practies & collective effort could be found. Please FWD/distribute the following mssg thru perma lists & such, so I'm not digging holes in the City Hall lawn this weekend for soil.
*OMgarten Urban Community Raingarten on the B-Line rail-to-trail needs your involvement!
